Dóchas
Meaning ‘hope’ in English, Dóchas was a short-lived bi-monthly publication by the rural community of Lacken in North Mayo. Published from 1987 to 1988, it contained many articles of local interest written by members of the community and contained aspects of history, heritage, genealogy, sport and social notice, with photographs and advertisements from nearby small businesses and shops.
